Welcome to HOPE Therapeutic Riding Center Inc. (HOPE). HOPE is a 501C3 nonprofit with a mission to positively impact the life course of people by connecting horses and humans. We strive to enrich the soul and improve lives by fostering hope and healing relationships through therapeutic, educational and recreational activities with horses. HOPE offers a safe space to decrease stress, increase joy and reignite motivation.

HOPE sits on approximately 50+ acres on the North side of Rochester, IL and is made up of a unique and diverse body of members!  The organization promotes fun-filled horse related activities for people of all ages and abilities, with an emphasis being placed on family, fairness, and safety. 

 

Our programs are focused on building life skills through the study of horse behavior and natural horsemanship. Under the guidance of our highly trained team, led by a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor people with all levels of experience can work with the horses to achieve success.

THERAPEUTIC 

Our equine assisted service programs focus on building life skills through the study of horse behavior and natural horsemanship. We believe through equine based experience, education, and knowledge a vast multitude of “life’s scars” can be overcome, allowing for a reconnected, well-balanced life change for those in need. HOPE offers several personal growth and development programs geared toward increasing overall health and wellness. Veterans, 1st Responders, their families and Kids in Care participate at NO COST to them!  In addition we offer partial scholarships to other families in need. We are able to do this thanks to the Orlandini Foundation, our Sponsors & Volunteers!

EDUCATIONAL

In the never ending pursuit of self-improvement and horsemanship skills for those passionate about the horse HOPE offers a variety of educational events and clinics in a safe environment to develop deeper partnerships and equine skills.

RECREATIONAL

Our goal is to encourage horse owners and enthusiasts of all levels and disciplines, and horses of all breeds to build partnerships and increase skills while having fun on the trail and in competition! HOPE promotes the importance of horsemanship, sportsmanship, community, and accountability. HOPE offers a variety of trail riding and obstacle challenges meant to encourage others to spend a little more time horsin' around!
